Pre-Bid Information
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Oxford High School on Wednesday, April 7 at 10:00 am. Meet in the auditorium in the Fine Arts building on Oxford High School Campus – a short meeting will take place and then visit the project site.
Bid Information
Bids will be received from contractors at the Oxford School District Central Office located at 1637 MS 30 East, Oxford, MS 38655, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 22, 2021, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
Scope of Work
A. The Project is a new baseball and softball complex for the Oxford School District.
B. The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, services, and related activities and procedures necessary to the complete construction including the site work and other improvements as shown on the Drawings and required in the Specifications (Project Manual).
C. To achieve the required substantial completion delivery, the following milestone dates must be achieved:
1. Sitework
a. 06/01/2021 – Cut & Fill Building Pads to Grade
2. Slab on Grade Complete
a. 07/30/2021 – Practice Facility
b. 08/6/2021 – Concessions / Restrooms / Ticket Buildings
c. 8/13/21 – Dugouts
3. CMU Complete
a. 09/10/2021 – Practice Facility
b. 10/01/2021 – Concessions / Restrooms / Ticket Buildings
c. 08/16/2021 – Baseball Dugouts
d. 08/30/2021 – Softball Dugouts
4. Structural Steel / Trusses / Roof Decking Complete
