Separate sealed bids for the Main Street and Kearns Lift Station Renovations will be received by Wesley Yarbrough at the Atoka Town Hall, 334 Atoka-Munford Avenue, Atoka, TN 38004 until 9:00 AM on February 7th, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any person with disability requiring special accommodations must contact the Town of Atoka no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening.
A MANDATORY Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on January 29th, 334 Atoka-Munford Avenue, Atoka, TN 38004 and virtually via Microsoft Teams. Bidders seeking to attend virtually must request Microsoft Teams meeting invitation. All bidders are required to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and sign the attendance sheet at the meeting. Bidders attending virtually will be added to the attendance sheet and noted as virtual attendee. Bids received from bidders who have not attended the Pre-Bid Meeting and signed the attendance sheet or listed as a virtual attendee at the meeting will be considered nonresponsive.

Scope of Work:
The project consists of two worksites, located at the Main Street and Kearns Lift Station. Construction at the Main Street Lift Station will consist of a new wet well, dry well, meter vault, valve vault, electrical building, and canopy and the installation of two new submersible pumps, solids grinder, variable frequency drives, piping, valves, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, controls, accessories, and appurtenances. Construction at the Kearns Lift Station will consist of replacing the existing soft starters on the submersible pumps with variable frequency drives and the installation of a new standby generator, including the necessary electrical, mechanical, structural, instrumentation, and controls. This project is being supported with American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding.
