The purpose of this project is to ready the building for renovation and the Caruthersville Area Arts Council wants to have the asbestos abated prior to the renovation commencement. The renovation work will be completed under a separate contract. An Asbestos-Containing Materials and Lead-Based Paint Survey was completed for the project for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources- BVCP and is provided as part of the bid documents.

Separate sealed bids for Caruthersville Area Arts Council Hazardous Material Removal Package will be received by Caruthersville Area Arts Council until 1:00 PM on March 17, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any person with a disability requiring special accommodation must contact the Caruthersville Area Arts Council no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening.
