Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of Sewer System Improvements for the Brownsville Energy Authority of Brownsville, Tennessee, will be received by the Brownsville Energy Authority at 25 North Lafayette, Brownsville, Tennessee until 1:00 PM, Central Time, Thursday, November 16, 2023, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Mailed bids should be addressed to Mr. Russ Stoots, General Manager, Brownsville Energy Authority, 25 North Lafayette, Brownsville, Tennessee 38012, and each bidder shall be responsible for their delivery by the above noted time.
The work is in one Contract and is generally described as follows:
CONTRACT 19-01: I-40 ADVANTAGE INDUSTRIAL PARK SEWER PUMPING STATION
Construction of new duplex sewer pumping station
Construction of approximately 6,672 feet of new 8-inch PVC forcemain
All the work shall be completed within 210 calendar days; liquidated damages for noncompletion are $500 per calendar day.
